Welcome to HGT Counselling! We offer a safe, supportive, judgment-free, and client-centered space where you are in control of the process. Together, we will work to explore the changes you want to see, remove obstacles, find solutions, uncover your strengths, discover and focus on your values and find the path that allows you to heal, grow, and thrive.

In our sessions, we will explore how to live fulfilling lives despite the challenges we face, heal from trauma, manage everyday stress, and practice mindfulness. This is a safe space for you to be yourself. We aim to help you find clarity and direction through thought-provoking questions and fresh perspectives.

Everyone's healing journey looks different and whether you want to discuss traumatic experiences, weigh decisions, or navigate daily stressors, having someone who listens without judgment and holds space can lighten the load and help clear the way toward a more fulfilling life. About HGT Counselling

Meet your Counsellor: Chelsea RSW, CCT (Provisional) (She/Her)

Chelsea is a Licensed Registered Social Worker (RSW #470) with the PEI Social Work Association and a Certified Counselling Therapist (Provisional #335) with the College of Counselling Therapists of PEI and is a certified Pet Loss and Grief Counsellor from the American Institute of Healthcare Professionals. 

She holds a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Prince Edward Island, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria, and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Chelsea is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strength-Based and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) which are the foundations of her therapeutic approach. 

Chelsea has over 12 years of working with clients in various settings including the fields of mental health, addictions and life transitions. She is passionate about helping others find their path to a healthy lifestyle and encouraging them to embrace their strengths and true selves by understanding and accepting all parts of who they are while they live in alignment with their values.
