
Chelsea is a Licensed Registered Social Worker (RSW #470) with the PEI Social Work Association, a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling Association, a Certified Counselling Therapist (#335) with the College of Counselling Therapists of PEI and is a certified Pet Loss and Grief Counsellor (PGSS-C) from the American Institute of Healthcare Professionals.
She holds a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Prince Edward Island, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria, and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Chelsea is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strength-Based and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) which are the foundations of her therapeutic approach.
Chelsea has over 12 years of working with clients in various settings including the fields of mental health, addictions and life transitions. She is passionate about helping others find their path to a healthy lifestyle and encouraging them to embrace their strengths and true selves by understanding and accepting all parts of who they are while they live in alignment with their values.
